Days following the release of Update Version 4.0, leaks have already begun detailing what the next update may bring to the game. Hoyoverse has already announced new characters Neuvillette and Wriothesley, but here's a look at what else will be available in the next update. It offers new maps, enemies, and other features.

New adversaries have been revealed


Version 4.1 is anticipated to introduce two new characters, the Seneschal of Frost and the Seneschal of Wind. Their photos have leaked on Reddit. Fans have observed and commented on the similarities between their outfit designs and those of Arlecchino.

New maps and weapons have been leaked


A fresh map illustration is also now available online. It is thought to be a component of Teyvat and will expand the map from the centre. A new weapon called the Ballad of the Boundless Blue has also been leaked online. The image shows that its Base ATK is 565, with a 30.6% energy recharge. It was also revealed that when striking Normal and Charged attacks simultaneously, the DMG will be raised by 16% for the Normal Attack and 12% for the Charged Attack, with the effect lasting 6 seconds. The leaked image also indicates that the effect can be activated once every 0.3 seconds.

Release Time


According to sources, Genshin Impact 4.1 will be released in September or later. On August 16, the newest Update Version 4.0 brought the new nation of Fontaine, as well as new characters Lyney, Lynette, and Freminet. Genshin Impact is available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Android, iOS, and Switch.
